Thelemic Organizations

The measure of any functional Magickal lodge or order is commensurate with the production of new Gnosis. Without such productivity, the lodge is little more than an empty shell, a specter of what they have not. New Gnosis is proof of contact with the Secret Chiefs and it is by this that the integrity of the lodge or order can be evaluated.
Note that the Thelemic Universe is a quagmire of honest, decent and spiritual organizations mixed in with a host of salacious and ignoble cults. They are all listed here, some with comments based on the personal experience of the Webmaster. Traverse this field at your own risk. And remember, if you see a Thelemite upon the road, run for your dear life!

Ordo Thelema
Under the auspices of the A.'.A.'.
A lineage in Serbia

Descended from Gerald Suster & Israel Regardie

Albion O.T.O.
Claiming for some time now, to be the "lineal descendent of all O.T.O. lines including Crowley, Reuss and W.B. Crow" and "Under the Charge of the A.'.A.'." But this couldn't be further from the truth. It's bad enough, just taking on the name of the O.T.O.; but to have it taken on by a raging alcoholic doesn't tip the scales in a positive direction. Top that off with the fact that these "lines" all come from one contact, who himself has no interest in Thelema, but fed them his initiation package. Rob Curley, the owner of this organization pretends at A.'.A.'. work awarding himself Grades to suit his whims as he drinks himself into his daily stupor, completely given over to egomania and the complete domination of his immediate environment; giving out insults to anyone that would deign to talk to him and in the most stifling of means, like the petty tyrant he is. Only the most incredibly naive would go too far along with this.
For more on this, refer to our egroup discussion: The Sickness of the Albion Core

An outer manifestation of the inner Order of the Star. There is some interesting work published here. For this, the A.M.H.R. offers its respect and hope to see them grow.

Peter Koenig's OTO Phenomenon

Scholarly resource for the History of the O.T.O. and online host of Typhonian O.T.O.; founded by Kenneth Grant. No apparent claim to A.'.A.'. lineage.
Characteristics of a Cult
1. Authoritarian pyramid structure with authority at the top
2. Charismatic or messianic leader(s) (Messianic meaning they either say they are God OR that they alone can interpret the scriptures the way God intended…..the leaders are self-appointed.
3. Deception in recruitment and/or fund raising
4. Isolation from society — not necessarily physical isolation like on some compound in Waco, but this can be psychological isolation — the rest of the world is not saved, not Christian, not transformed (whatever) — the only valid source of feedback and information is the group
5. Use of mind control techniques (we use Dr. Robert Jay Lifton's criteria from chapter 22 of his book Thought Reform & the Psychology of to compare whether the eight psychological and social methods he lists are present in the group at question)
Mileu Control: Control of the environment and communication within the environment
Mystical Manipulation: Seeks to promote specific patterns of behavior and emotion in such a way that it appears to have arisen spontaneously from within the environment, while it actually has been orchestrated totalist leaders claim to be agents chosen by God, history, or some supernatural force, to carry out the mystical imperative the "principles" (God-centered or otherwise) can be put forcibly and claimed exclusively, so that the cult and its beliefs become the only true path to salvation (or enlightenment)
Demand for Purity: The world becomes sharply divided into the pure and the impure, the absolutely good (the group/ideology) and the absolutely evil (everything outside the group) one must continually change or conform to the group "norm"; tendencies towards guilt and shame are used as emotional levers for the group's controlling and manipulative influences
Confession: Cultic confession is carried beyond its ordinary religious, legal and therapeutic expressions to the point of becoming a cult in itself sessions in which one confesses to one's sin are accompanied by patterns of criticism and self-criticism, generally transpiring within small groups with an active and dynamic thrust toward personal change
Sacred Science: The totalist milieu maintains an aura of sacredness around its basic doctrine or ideology, holding it as an ultimate moral vision for the ordering of human existence questioning or criticizing those basic assumptions is prohibited a reverence is demanded for the ideology/doctrine, the originators of the ideology/doctrine, the present bearers of the ideology/doctrine offers considerable security to young people because it greatly simplifies the world and answers a contemporary need to combine a sacred set of dogmatic principles with a claim to a science embodying the truth about human behavior and human psychology
Loading the Language: Words are given new meanings — the outside world does not use the words or phrases in the same way — it becomes a "group" word or phrase
Doctrine Over Person: If one questions the beliefs of the group or the leaders of the group, one is made to feel that there is something inherently wrong with them to even question — it is always "turned around" on them and the questioner/criticizer is questioned rather than the questions answered directly the underlying assumption is that doctrine/ideology is ultimately more valid, true and real than any aspect of actual human character or human experience and one must subject one's experience to that "truth" the experience of contradiction can be immediately associated with guilt one is made to feel that doubts are reflections of one's own evil when doubt arises, conflicts become intense
Dispensing of Existence: Since the group has an absolute or totalist vision of truth, those who are not in the group are bound up in evil, are not enlightened, are not saved, and do not have the right to exist; impediments to legitimate being must be pushed away or destroyed one outside the group may always receive their right of existence by joining the group; fear manipulation — if one leaves this group, one leaves God or loses their salvation/transformation, or something bad will happen to them; the group is the "elite", outsiders are "of the world", "evil", "unenlightened", etc.

Outer order of the A.'.A.'. for Motta lineage through Ray Eales. Unfortunately, also a dangerous cult. This group is actually a front group for the even more salacious S.O.T.O., also a dangerous cult. Ray Eales constantly controls his victims by repeatedly informing them that the group is under "magickal attack." He controls their behavior by constantly degrading them for not having lost their ego, which of course, they are stupid enough to be threatened by. And he controls their social interaction by determining who his A.'.A.'. and H.O.O.R. members are allowed to socialize with. After the webmaster of the A.M.H.R. site decided to leave this group, they spent four years harassing him with almost daily crank phone calls and the publication of two slanderous webpages of the same ilk. Under threat, they have backed off from this criminal behavior.
And now, they are claiming to be the real O.T.O., as sanctioned by Motta, when Motta's last Will & Testament, clearly leaves the trusteeship of the S.O.T.O. (whether or not that has any legitimate claim to Crowley's O.T.O. … more than likely not as Sascha Germer's testimony of Germer's dying words would not be suitable to prove that Motta owned anything at all!), exclusively to a triumvirate (Bardon, Stone & Canuto) that has never named a successor. It's sad enough that Motta declared himself as the Vicar of the Beast with special access to Aiwass. Ray Eales now continues this delusion. Gregory von Seewald, a member of the H.O.O.R./S.O.T.O. secret triumvirate, has entered the political debate with the following pronouncement:
"The Holy Order Of RaHoorKhuit was conceived in mid August 1978ev. and sanctioned by Parzival XI° to safeguard the matter of the name O.T.O. and to anticipate the matter of the Deed of Trust. H.O.O.R. was officially founded as the new outer Order of Thelema in 1992ev."
As this order is nothing but another group of Order-Makers/Second-Handers, it is no wonder that they too are clinging to Motta's corpse. With Bersson making false and un-provable claims that Canuto acceded her membership in the original triumvirate to him, though that would fall under Stone's purview according to Motta's will; and Ray Eales producing false documentation of a Canuto claim that H.O.O.R. is the real S.O.T.O., they are producing Caliphate style NewSpeak and obfuscation, only they are a tiny order of but a few people, unlike the larger Caliphate; even posting fake, inactive lodges (like the Caliphate) on their outdated website, to look bigger than they are.

Outer order of the A.'.A.'. for Motta lineage through David Bersson. And unfortunately, also a dangerous cult (the only Thelemic group specifically listed in cult-watch websites), working in association with H.O.O.R. Their inner hierarchies are composed of the same people and they both defy A.'.A.'. tradition by each having alternating periods of Silence and Speech; leaving no period of Silence between the two of them.
Official pronouncement of the Chancellor of the A^A^ from Equinox Vol. I, No. 9 and Volume III, No. 1:
“The Ruler of the Order proscribes five years of Speech alternating with five years of Silence.”
David Bersson persists also in betraying the privacy of the A.'.A.'. by maintaining a supposed "Failed Probationer" webpage (which can serve no purpose but to frighten his members from quitting) and meting out a package of lies, easily disproven. They also are connected with a group calling itself L.I.L., whose leader seems more interested in the taking of drugs than in doing any real work.

Outer order of the A.'.A.'. through Israel Regardie, Phyllis Seckler/Jane Wolfe lineage. Once a member of the Caliphate, but now simply sympathetic to them. They defy A.'.A.'. tradition by accepting money for classes that gives you "credit" for A.'.A.'. programs and by A.'.A.'. rules, all their members should be "barred for life with no chance of readmittance." They also sell a book for profit, that teaches about the A.'.A.'. program, which skirts the periphery of that rule as well.

Official pronouncement of the Chancellor of the A^A^ from Equinox Volume III, No. 1:
“It will be remembered that it has always been the policy of the A^A^ to make no financial profit whatever either from publications, or in any other way…”
From the Praemonstrance from Commentaries on the Holy Books of Thelema:
"…The AA does not mandate or recommend association with any other organization as a necessary prerequisite for admission, or accept such associations as equivalent to the curricula established by its Authority.
Since its establishment, the many, whose name is legion, have sought to profit by the reputation of the AA, and some have been deceived thereby. How can one tell he false from the True? The principles of the Order of AA are clear and unequivocal; those who act in a manner contrary to them are automatically excluded from its fold. It requires no oaths of secrecy, or vows of obedience to any individual. No money is ever requested when its teachings are dispensed or when an attainment is recognized by its Authority. The Order does not operate in lodges, campuses, lecture circles, or groups of any kind. From the start the Work is individual and private; …"

Explaining this in their own words:
Thank you for attemptingto correct the misinformation recently posted to this list. To clarify these issuesfurther, I'm pasting in an explanation I posted a few months ago, on this same topic:

"Fallacy #1: The C.O.T. and Jane Wolfe A.'.A.'. lineage "charge forinitiation".
Within this lineage of A.'.A.'. , money is not and has never beencharged for initiation. The lineage honors the traditional Student curriculum established byA.C. as one means of approach. It also honors completion of Course One of the College ofThelema as an alternate way of fulfilling the Student requirement. I think this iswhere some confusion has arisen regarding money. The College assesses a single modest feefor each Course (each course lasts for 1-2 years), just as any College would, tocover its own expenses (mostly printing and related supplies). The Temple of Thelema alsocharges very modest fees, to cover its expenses (again, mostly printing, rental space, etc.) just as any working Order tends to do. One does not join the A.'.A.'. by joining theT.O.T. or C.O.T., but this *can* be an effective way of preparing for one's admission as aProbationer, as an alternative to the traditional Student curriculum. This alternatemethod of approach to Probationer is the only such deviation from A.C.'s curriculum in anyGrade."

And a couple of small corrections:
1. The Second order of A.'.A.'. is called R.'.C.'., not R.R. etA.C., which was the Inner Order of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
2. Contact with members of the A.'.A.'. (as such) other than yourstudents and your Superior is generally nonexistent, other than for the well-knowninitiation ceremonies leading to the Neophyte and Zelator grades. Entry into R.'.C.'.doesn't imply increased group contact.

Ordo A.'.A.'.
Seems to be connected to College and Temple of Thelema (immediately above). The webmaster of the A.M.H.R. website regularly gets threats of lawsuits from them as they dislike our criticism of the C.O.T./T.O.T., showing that they are more secular and mundane in true form with their association with the Califate O.T.O.

Blends Thelema with Tantrik Shaivism. No apparent claim to A.'.A.'. lineage. But it does seem that they are more and more walking away from Thelema and any Western heritage, opting more and more for an Eastern Hindu/Buddhist format.

Practices timed, tantrick astrological rituals in English and has ties to the QBLH,No apparent claim to A.'.A.'. lineage. But they are run by a misguided woman who claims to be a prophetess but organized a hive (herd) of drone bees (cult members) who generally harass and have close ties to Satanists through members of the Greater Society of Thelema (a religious hate group). The fact that their main "holy book" contradicts Liber AL vel Legis seems of no consequence to them. And recently, this woman actually "updated" her alleged transmission (reading the new and improved "revelation" at a conference in England) and now (after all these years) claims that her 'Aeon of Maat' was never meant to replace the revelation of AL. And so Liber Penumbra was a silly poem, a personal fantasia that has duped a lot of amateur occultists. Nema is after all, just another megalomaniacal cult leader; reigning over yet another ant hill.

Quote from Heretics of Dune by Frank Herbert:
"Like hive insects…they have no self-image. Without a sense of self, they go beyond amorality. Nothing they say or do can be trusted…They are flesh made into automata. Without flesh, they have nothing to esteem or even doubt. They are bred only to obey their masters."

New Order of Thelema
This order, developed from the QBLH, bases its formula on 715 (Note: after receiving Tom Chaudoin's email of 8-2-05ev, I rechecked the website and the number was changed to 815), rather than the 718 of Liber AL, which should tell you something about them. One of their leaders, I believe may be the husband of Tina, the former man, now woman…trans-gender…who told me she was the head of QBLH. This gentleman, Tom Chaudoin sends me the following emails:

"William Webb—talented artist and spirited Alchemist; betrayed by the order he founded, QBLH."

As one of Mr Webb's heirs I take total umbrage at your reference that the members of the QBLH being myself (Tom Chaudoin), Joel Love here in Ga., Jake Stratton Kent in Wales and Soror Talad and Frater Harlequin in Ky. (who are Webb's legitimate heirs) ever betrayed him personally. I submit that you never knew the man and your off the cuff anecdotal reference is baseless. Frater Damon (Webb) shared with us freely thae last 6 years of his life amd never swore us to any secrecy over the lore he transmitted to us. Everything we have done since then has been in total reverence of him.
You dont know what you are talking about and I challenge you to elaborate on this frekakte comment about QBLH.
If you want to talk shit maybe you should write a long discourse on how William Breeze has betrayed and ruined the entire OTO in America. That at least would be accurate.
Sincerly,

You will find below, the full range of my opinions and their corresponding links.
That you take "umbrage" with this is your problem. I am not interested in the apparent fact that you have made a personal identification with the QBLH as it merely betrays the cultic or co-dependant relation you have with them.
In my personal experience with them, I found them obsessed with their web-server business, short-tempered and unwilling to keep their word on promises made to me, because of being too preoccupied with this business. And so I merely told it as I saw it.
Per your ridiculous challenge, again, I am not interested in defending my opinion. But maybe at some point, I'll see the order act with the credulity that I found in my experience with Mr. Webb (both directly and indirectly through an associate). At such a time, I'll change my opinion.
Per the Caliphate, it's no secret how I feel about them. And my website is filled with even worse criticisms than the minor ones directed at your organization. And considering that I am almost a complete pariah in the Thelemic community, I am curious…why do you give me such power that my website would drive you to attempt to insult me with my "frekakte" comments? Such emotional thinking represents a confusion of energies and betrays any real initiation, showing rather, co-dependence and cultic issues.
Enjoy your dream…but please, don't contact me again.
Oh…and if you do, which you'll probably need to…at least act like a Thelemite; and give Thelemic greetings…I know Mr. Webb used them.

It then took Tom five months to again respond…and it's obvious that I'm taking up some real estate in his head:

Mr. Rovelli,
Again you need to revise your information, the current head of the QBLH is Jake Stratton Kent (Founder of the Gnostic Alchemical Church of Typhon Christ) in the UK and William Webb's named heir before his death Soror Tala in the USA.
Tina has been non-gratis for about 8 years. As for your minimalist criticism of NAEQ, I dont think you are the single authority on what is 'un-thelemic'. You may be a genuine intitiate with something to teach, yet, like most splitters, you seem to assert that yours' is the only correct way, or that Thelema has a single 'correct method'.
I find your whole analysis a little paranoid frekakte, if you dont mind my saying.
The NOT is a direct offshoot of QBLH and GAC.
www.neworder.20m.com
Crowley himself said that anyone in posession of all ten Equinox volumes could forge a link with the 'Inner Order' without need of any apostolic lineage, this is his gift to mankind, that magicians no longer have to answer to the likes of you to recieve real gnosis. Despite that, Frater Damon's lineage back to the Prophet is unbroken, and as his heirs, so is ours, you are not the sole possessor of these rights, neither is the cOTO, I find your megalomaniacal diatribe a great case of 'the pot calling the kettle black'.
QBLH is not the originator of NAEQ , it comes from the OAA lineage in the UK and was adopted by Webb in the early eighties. It originates in Liber Al, chapter three verse 47.
The only two things which define a thelemite are as follows:
1. Accepting the ideology of 'Do what thou wilt'.
2. Accepting that Liber Al is a genuine channeled transmission and not the written work of the Prophet.
I will resist any formal enforcement of anything larger than the two points above, to my dying breath. Beyond this minimal criterion there are no orthodox rules.
There is no 'thelemic orthodoxy' the idea is an oxymoron. Including the use of 'formal thelemic greetings.'
93,
Taammuz

I responded with:
Care Tom,
93
I've never claimed to have any orthodox slant on Thelema, nor any lineal succession…what you read into this in your diatribe says more about you than it does about me.
I'd be happy to post correct information about QBLH and glad that you got rid of Tina, with the ugly experience it produced in dealing with me. But why is it that you and other lesser and immature minds {intentionally used because you have to take criticism so very personally]…why is it that you have to debate with such anger{question mark…my keyboard's a bit messed up at the moment…apologies]
Can't you and all these other morons act with any concern about being polite{question mark…rhetorical comment] and can't you disagree on points without assuming that the other must be evil because they disagree…{question mark]
I'll be glad to make changes, when first, you grow up by sending me an email that would have the tone of an Initiate, brother to brother, and then show me your credentials by acting with respect.
And you use that stupid word again, like you did in your last angry email to me {frekakte]…get a better lexicon and learn a few more words…better yet, get a life. I won't respond to you any longer, if you insist on this ignoble tone.
And it's just too bad that you're so rude, I'd really rather a pleasant relationship and an intelligent debate. Though of course, rudeness is a cover for an untrained mind.
Notice how I can also be rude, but I can also be polite…can you do both and which do you prefer{question mark]
AL II.58: "Yea! deem not of change: ye shall be as ye are, & not other. Therefore the kings of the earth shall be Kings for ever: the slaves shall serve. There is none that shall be cast down or lifted up: all is ever as it was. Yet there are masked ones my servants: it may be that yonder beggar is a King. A King may choose his garment as he will: there is no certain test: but a beggar cannot hide his poverty."

Rovelli, youre a moron, and youre a propagandist, where did you get the "715" reference anyway, it has nothing to do with the NOt in any way shape or form.
Maybe youre just crazy.

Plus, Im not the "husband" of Tim/Tina Coutu, youre a complete kneebiter. Plus you continue to try to define Thelema within a narrow perspective of your own.
Your critique is laughable and irrelevant, also for your edification NAEQ does not originate with QBLH it originates with the OAA in the UK which then spawned the GAC-TC.
Get your facts straight, you sound medicated to anyone who is experienced and knowledgeable in these matters, especially to the persons and groups you speak of….
Get a grip.

The following appears on the T-93 list on Yahoo (which Tom participates in). Note that Sr. Tala is Tina:

"Remember, QBLH (as run by Sr Tala) has a few very close (to the point of almost inseparable) sister organizations. Though it is true that several of the more longstanding members have had transexual surgical operations, I don't believe this has anything to do with encouragement by the organization, more along the lines of personal decisions. All in all, a very strange place with very strange folks."

October 3, 2005 ev
The next day on this same T-93 list, we can find the development of the October 2nd conversation:
> ~ The problem is that perspective was not detailed in any of the> ~ organization's documentation at the time – nor was it a party line> ~ that was espoused as required to participate. It was thrown upon> ~ memebrs gradually and unequally based on gender.>> Honestly, I can't speak for what happened when you entered QBLH. And> I am not sure it is "party line" now even, not being part of the> Party myself anymore ;) .
Therein lies the problem. You weren't aware of Tala's outright lies toboth myself and my partner.
> Mr Webb was doing NAEQ too. I have seen some of his work on it. So I> am not sure what you mean. Have you not noticed that when Orders> change heads policies seem to change too? It is not that uncommon.
Well, when you're promised that NAEQ was one of many (and not required)areas of interest and study, and that pledge is reversed, you have atendency not to trust.
Tala also required lying and secrecy in my household between myself and mypartner, despite claims that such things would not happen.
No matter what changes took place between Webb and Tala, there was *no*excuse for her lies.
>Did you ask at the time when you joined? I remember Tala was pretty> open with me about what she expected within QBLH.
Yes, and what I was told and promised was not what took place.
> You were part of the Order when the closeness of these organizations> took off. Until then most communication was by mail, phone calls> etc. When you were part of the Order several of the Sister> organizations came closer to work together in Ritual. So, in all> fairness the relationships were being disclosed right in front of> you, as they happened.
Actually, they weren't. They were disclosed to women only.
The loyalty oath thing showed up overnight. The requirement to acceptabsolute authority took place overnight.
The character of what was and what was promised changed dramatically.
In that respect, I view history as important. If the most basic of claimsand promises cannot remain, why should I believe the organization and itsleadership?
This wasn't a case of a local bodymaster or minor peon being a misleadingidiot.
This was the head of the organization.
What she does reflects on her.
I hope things have changed. Maybe they have, maybe they haven't.
All I know is what happened to me.

93 Mr. Rovelli or current webmaster,
My name is Joel Love and much of my personal research has been postedwithout my prior approval by Tom Chaudoin. The idea behind N.O.T. wasat it's inception, just a discussion between Tom and I. We worked onthe Lamen used as the opening graphic on the website Tom put up, againwithout my prior approval. I deeply regret the letters that wereexchanged between you and Tom. His opinions do not match mine and itis a source of embarrassment for me personally. Please accept myapologies for Toms behavior. He has mixed his opinions (which havesome validity), with my personal research and presented it as apackaged. I feel that my research speaks for it's self and that theclaiming of the title Magus Love is not a big reach. It was actuallybrought to my attention by a small group of working magicians whoafter studying my work with Liber XXVII felt that I fit the persondescribed in Liber I. I have come to believe that I may in fact bethis individual. It matters not if that title is correct for me ornot, my work stands on it's own merit.
I am in the process of getting Tom to remove my name and that titlefrom the N.O.T. site, along with some of my research. Again I deeplyregret the way that Tom treated you in the silly letters he wrote.Your group seems to be a valuable compendium of the Thelemic groupsextant.
Tom's information on the succession of the orders and their heads andfrom whence they descend was incorrect. If your interested I'll tryand clear up each of the points that he butchered, but I don't seewhere much would be gained by correcting all of his misinformation.
Your website is informative and well done. I regret that I ammentioned by name in the context of Tom's abusive letters. Hopefully Ican get some of this corrected in a timely fashion.

Care Joel,

I welcome your letter and accept your apologies. My experience with Tom wasas to be expected from the rascals that feign indignation in order toexercise that old Christist self-righteousness. That desire is just sostrong in them, they merely need someone to have a different opinion fromtheir own in order to find reason to libel and slander in order to protecttheir shallow egos. Of course, it would be better if they tried to attacktheir only true enemy (themselves)…but to have an outside enemy is anotherChristist Crusade, Zionist Putch (sp?) or Islamic Jihad. There is no spiritin them; had they spirit, they'd welcome a friend with new ideas and a freshperspective. But then again:1. Shallow minds talk about people (usually to gossip; i.e., slander andlibel)2. Average minds talk about things.3. Great minds talk about ideas.===Considering most Thelemites can do nothing but slander and libel in the nameof self-righteousness, we know there's no spirit with them and the SecretChiefs can't possibly know who they are…they can't possibly 'knowthemselves' either, for that matter. A spiritual man would be a 'comrade atarms' … fighting each of us as brothers, against our own true enemy; each, ourselves. We can acknowledge each other and engage in dialogue or saluteas two allied ships passing in the night.Do what thou wilt. But do it with love under will.Whatever happened to Agape? Why is it always this fascistic will, will, will…by itself?…so that theycan do what these desert, slave religions do best…hate. You're welcome to dialogue with me any time as a friend at-arms.

Outer Order of A.'.A.'. through Praemonstrance of James Daniel Gunther, William Breeze & Martin Starr. Generally as obnoxious as most things connected to that most dangerous of cults, the Caliphate O.T.O. Both organizations make their claims by way of paperwork and a circuit court of appeals…not through any spiritual heritage. They've defied A.'.A'. tradition by both publishing its private rituals and an even numbered volume of the Equinox (even numbered volumes are supposed to be periods of silence) and now even claim to be part of the Motta lineage after years of betrayal, scandalization and denunciation of Motta's heritage. This is particularly odd after spending years betraying Motta's privacy and publishing his private letters to his instructor, Karl Germer. To further their pomposity, they even claim to be the only true A.'.A.'. lineage.

The Caliphate O.T.O. who's scandalous history as noted above, betrays the spiritual heritage that the claim to be a part of and of whom initially chartered the Thelemic Golden Dawn through Christopher Hyatt. Mr. Hyatt, sometime thereafter, handed the order to David Cherubim and now denounces Thelema in its entirety as being a brainwashing scheme. Such erratic behavior of course, betrays Hyatt's own integrity. But like the Caliphate, the T.G.D. and O.A.I. (see below) also maintain legal counsel in order to enforce the promulgation of their religions as they see fit. Worse, the Caliphate denies that authenticity and holiness of Liber AL vel Legis and instead, proclaims it as merely a work of "automatic writing" by Crowley. In this way, they seek to control the copyright of this document. With their admitted perjury at the trial against Marcelo Motta, and the slander against the webmaster of this site, this cult is also quite capable of criminal behavior.
Recently, during the month of March, 2006ev, they claimed copyright infringement, calling to three documents on this website. Besides the fact that two of the documents contain more of Motta's and my own commentaries, one document is said not to exist altogether, but still they made this claim. Note that it's on O.T.O. and not legal letterhead. More than likely this is another fictitious law office. But it's easier not to fight it. More interesting is that they use the law when it works for them and break the law when it works against them. In losing my lawsuit against them, they claimed to have no working body in New Jersey. But in fact, they actually did…the body remained 'sub-rosa' and unlisted in their database to avoid having to answer for their slander. Of course, these cronies have committed perjury before; so this is typical behavior for them. They publicly admitted this after the statute of limitations expired from the infamous Motta trial.A Statement Regarding the Ordo Templi Orientis

At the end of February, 2006, after much consideration and ample notification of the present management of U.S. Grand Lodge, I resigned from all positions of management held by me at that time in Ordo Templi Orientis. The following statement is an effort to explain my actions, further elaborated upon in the Revised Second Edition (2006) of my anthology, “The Roots of Magick”, as published by Manutius Press http://www.manutiuspress.com/ on April 8th, 2006.
“Civilization is crumbling under our eyes and I believe that the best chance of saving what little is worth saving, and rebuilding the Temple of the Holy Ghost on plans, and with material and workmanship, which shall be free from the errors of the former, lies with the O.T.O.” Aleister Crowley “The Confessions”
“…the really vital matter is the gradual progress towards disclosure of the Secret of the Ninth Degree…I didn’t invent the system; I must suppose that those who did knew what they were about.” Aleister Crowley, Magick Without Tears
“The O.T.O. declares that Brotherhood of All Things Created is a fact of Nature.
“The principle purpose of the O.T.O. is to teach True Brotherhood, and to make it a living power in the life of humanity.”
OTO Constitution, Article II, Sections 1 and 2
For my parents and their generation, coming out of the toughest raw times of the Great Depression, the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor on the morning of December 7, 1941 by forces of the Japanese Empire was a defining event in their lives, reframing all that had gone before in their lives, and profoundly influencing all subsequent events. For those of us born into the postwar world, there have been many profound events, but perhaps none has so comparably reframed our thinking as the fateful morning of September 11, 2001 when Islamist fanatics attacked the mainland of the United States , killing thousands of persons, most of them innocent civilians. In my case the attack itself was not unexpected; indeed before the second plane struck the doomed World Trade Center in New York , I already pretty well knew who had likely launched the attack and why. But that fact did not lessen the impact of the event itself, and what it implied. It raised questions for me about what is, and is not, important and meaningful in my own life, and in the life’s blood of civilization, which I consider to be under attack. It raised questions about the implications of any variety of religious fundamentalism and any variety of authoritarianism. OTO has always been rather blasé about its top-heavy autocratic structure, and has gradually moved from the Scientific Illuminism that informed its initiation rituals, and its celebratory ritual, The Gnostic Mass, towards a set of what I see as superstitious beliefs and tendencies. Was this something I could support in the wake of 9/11? I had had doubts before, but now it seemed a legitimate question in the context of what has been called –rightly, in my view—a clash of civilizations.
At the time I write this memorandum, the world population is 6,477,451,000. OTO membership is, perhaps, 3000. The population of the United States , where OTO has enjoyed its greatest success to date is at least 298,444,062. (Reference: http://www.census.gov/main/www/popclock.html ) OTO membership is, possibly, 2000 and not growing appreciably—at the highest levels, essentially not growing at all. There is an argument that goes that this is as it should be, that the membership needs to be “few and secret” that it may ‘rule’ (ill-defined) “the many and the known” – but in a world of 300 billions, an organization not appreciably larger than, say, the Socialist Workers Party and much smaller than, say, the followers of Rastafarianism is not just small, but hardly around at all. The world membership of OTO is only slightly larger than that of, say, The New York Society for Ethical Culture (http://www.adherents.com/Na/Na_470.html) of which it is tellingly said, “The New York Society for Ethical Culture grew steadily until it reached its present membership of 1150 persons. “ . The notion that thirty five years after McMurtry initiated the revivification of OTO that this is becoming the “chief organization for world reform” is an embarrassing absurdity. Add to this the likely fact (OTO upper management seems highly resistant to any comprehensive demographic research) that most OTO members seem to be marginalized, essentially powerless individuals, and the absurdity becomes a farrago of nonsense. In the post 9/11 world, it may even be said to be a dangerous nonsense. Islamist fanatics have had far more influence on world events than the OTO has had in all of its history since McMurtry’s activation of his emergency powers. It is not competitive in either the world of ideas or the world of practical activities. It has become not so much an evil as an irrelevancy under its present upper management.
I had already served the OTO, the Ordo Templi Orientis in its current incarnation for nearly twenty years at the time of the attack, first as a private individual invited by the local body master to organize the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica in the Southern United States, virtually from scratch, then as a Lodge Secretary, sole consecrated resident bishop for many hundreds of miles around, then as Lodge Master, and eventually, for the past decade, as Sovereign Grand Inspector General and Most Wise Sovereign of one of a handful of Chapters of Rose Croix in the world. When the individual elevated to the office of U.S. Grand Master General, Sabazius, chose to make his first VII Degree full tripartite member, I was the member he chose. I was for some time on good – even intimate – social terms with the Acting Outer Head of the Order, known as Hymenaeus Beta. I have been a guest in the homes of both of these men, as they have been guests in mine. It is thus not without hesitation that I have come to view their efforts at doing the particular Work uniquely charged to the OTO in its founding and most basic documents, as being a dismal, ill-conceived and ill-executed effort that has brought, under their leadership, the sort of near total failure that has characterized many marginalized societies with pretensions to occult knowledge. The decision to transform an eccentric and radical form of Freemasonic School in the very heart of the authentic esoteric tradition into a rather conventional religious society with an extremely narrow base and zero societal impact was a gradual one, and has had its critics at each level of its deviation from the core program of the society.
In the middle years of the 1980s I was already deeply involved for many years in metaphysical work, but equally in radically progressive political work that I saw as a necessity for the very survival of civilization. I came to a point where I perceived that I needed to devote my energies in one direction or the other. After a major confrontation between activists and the police in Chicago , and between activists and one another, I decided that a conceptual basis for radical social change was a necessary prerequisite to worthwhile change, and I chose to devote my life—essentially full time – to the radical program of the OTO.
At the time I was wrestling with this decision, the OTO was undergoing a substantial transformation. After having virtually evaporated in the early 1950s, the Order had undergone a profound and vigorous revival under the acting leadership of Grady Louis McMurtry. A veteran of the Normandy Invasion and the conquest of Nazi-occupied Europe, Major McMurtry served in both World War Two and the Korean Conflict, and having trained and been initiated directly under the greatest remaining luminaries of the OTO system, including Crowley, McMurtry was nevertheless a somewhat haphazard eccentric by the time he began to pull the strands of the OTO back together in the 1970s.
Notwithstanding this, he took very seriously what he considered the basic essential documents of the Order as published in The Equinox III (1), grasped its essential evident purpose as a specialized engine of the Authentic Tradition and its far-reaching message, and with unconventional but largely effective organizing skills reinvented the OTO, without deviating from its core curriculum. He rightly saw both the spiritual implications of what was essentially a Masonic system, and the danger of calling what he was doing a “religion” in anything but the most technical legal definition of the concept. Had his Teacher not admonished against calling it “a new religion…I fail to see what you will have gained by so doing,” Crowley told a student, “ and I feel bound to add that you might easily cause a great deal of misunderstanding, and work a rather stupid kind of mischief.” Crowley had written the Gnostic Mass with the idea of building a spiritual structure without recourse to superstition and blind faith-based beliefs as the chief celebratory ritual of the Order. In his own fashion, and well-aware of his own limitations, including his own advancing years, McMurtry attempted to preserve the core Mystery of OTO, the initiations, the advantages of civil law protections, and the division of the “spiritual” and “fraternal” functions of the Work, without introduction of any fundamental changes in the system he inherited which were not dictated by the exigencies of “war-time” survival conditions. Under his leadership, a tiny knot of seven or so became about seven hundred in perhaps fifteen years, at the time of his death, with studies under way to more fully explore and implement the ideas expressed in the basic documents. His successor was drawn up from the ranks of the intelligent younger members, committed to sticking to and clarifying the essential program, but his successor was a compromise candidate picked by an irregular college, and it was just not to be.
The principle mistakes that I cite below are not exhaustive. I have attempted to avoid failures on a personal level by persons in upper management, though such mistakes have, in my opinion, been at times exceptionally glaring and telling.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (1) <!–[endif]–> INCORPORATION – The move towards incorporation was something I always viewed as in conflict with the radical postulates of the essential program of OTO. Incorporation, it is true, does offer certain tax-related benefits and, more questionably, legal protections, but it makes the organization a part of the very social paradigm its program seeks to supplant. By placing itself within the System, a body tends to become absorbed into the system. The OTO program, its central gnosis and conceptual framework are not amenable to social conformity. It might – it might – be able to be a “legal entity” without gradually compromising itself into being a part of the very paradigm it postulates as that of an antequated “Aeon” but this would require extraordinary and clear-headed management. It has not had that, and seems to consist largely of socially marginalized members attracted to the essential program which has been gradually gutted into a hollow shell of its intended realization.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (2) <!–[endif]–> LITIGOUSNESS – Without discussing the legal merits or tactical usefulness of any individual legal cases the OTO has involved itself in, by so involving itself repeatedly the upper management appears to have blurred the line between the essential purposes of the Order as described in the basic documents and its legalistic objectives. No efforts to control the flow of information, confidential or otherwise, has resulted in any true control—the Internet has more or less made a mockery of any such efforts, even supposing that the restriction of the flow of information is advantageous to the purposes of the Order, itself a debatable proposition. Further, the upper management has seemingly in the process of conducting itself as what appears to some—myself included—a litigious corporate entity, fallen into an excessively self-conscious body, unduly worried about potential legal actions against it, including concerns that are, in my view, inconsistent with the Order’s history and any legal precedent. This, in turn, has weighed down the operative local bodies of the Order with a mass of bureaucratic rules, a mountain of paperwork, and even a presumptuous gutting of both the initiation rituals and the Order’s primary public interface, The Gnostic Mass. As one rather ranking member observed to me, “The OTO is now run by its lawyers.” This is utterly unacceptable in that it is completely incompatible with the numinous and progressive goals and methodology described in the basic documents.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (3) <!–[endif]–> HUBRIS AND CAPRICIOUS INNOVATIONS – The present upper management does not consist of the founders of the OTO. It was inevitable, of course, that this would eventually be the case. But under an acting Frater Superior with no established prior reputation, even within the narrow community of metaphysicians, and little to recommend his breadth of knowledge or skill, the initiation rituals have been changed in fundamental ways, according to his personal perceptions, for example, of the relationship to Freemasonry of the Order. I consider, and have so told him, that these perceptions are unwarranted and certainly not necessary. They may have irreparably disrupted the original intent of the system. Certain degrees and ritual practices have been completely made up by the present acting outer head of the Order or his designated managers, while other established rituals have been radically altered. This is not based on new archival discoveries nor upon any practical necessity but, rather, upon the personal perceptions of the acting Frater Superior. Even (rather thin, in my opinion) legalistic considerations have dictated one radical and a number of lesser changes in the conduct of The Gnostic Mass as a public ritual of OTO for which it was designed. The Frater Superior and his inner management team have also seen fit to change the clear intent of the basic documents of the Order. Book 194, which includes a set of checks and balances on absolute power, has been undermined by modifications in practice which effectively guts the authority of the Grand Tribunal in provision 16 (“All members of the Order, even of higher grades, are subject to the Grand Tribunal”) the ‘independent Parliament of Guilds’ of provision 21, which makes such guilds self-organizing, and they are to “…prosecute their own good in all matters relating pertaining to their labour and means of livelihood” – each guild choosing its own representative, rules, et al. Current policy effectively turns this on its head, entirely missing the point, and organizes the guilds from upper management down; provision 25, etc. Book 194 is clearly designed to act, among other things, as a check upon Authority. Present upper management has seen to it that this is not possible based on nothing I can see other than its own interests.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (4) <!–[endif]–> FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS – While demands by upper management upon the local chartered bodies are ever increasing, including financial demands of a direct and indirect nature, a careful reading of the OTO annual budget will show that much of the money raised goes to pay a de facto salary to the acting Frater Superior. The OTO being a rather small organization, the majority of its members being, insofar as I can assess, of relatively modest means, it would seem that this essentially all-volunteer body should remain such until and unless its size and material income become much larger than it presently is. Local body officers, Grand Lodge officers and scores of ordinary members without special portfolio do their work for the Order – the vast bulk of the Work of the Order, on a volunteer, gratis basis. There is every reason that this should be true for the Acting OHO as well, and no reasonable justification for such being otherwise. The same funds could serve the very policies (such as free-standing no-residential local meeting space and insurance for such spaces) advocated by U.S. Grand Lodge and many local body officers. If any funds should be devoted to paid services, perhaps the most effective and best use of such funds would be for a transparent, outside audit of the financial ACTIVITIES OF Grand Lodge, both National and International.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (5) <!–[endif]–> INITIATION – Most damning is the failure to initiate by the present upper management. A study of the statistical breakdown of degrees shows nearly flat growth, if it can be so called at all, in recent years, and virtually no growth at all in the highest degrees. If, as Crowley indicated, the evident purpose of the Order is to prepare individuals for initiation, the present management is a failure and should step down. Aleister Crowley stated that “…the really vital matter is the gradual progress towards disclosure of the Secret of the Ninth Degree”. If one discounts those acting ninths conferred by Major McMurtry prior to the mid 1980s, of the several thousand members who are or have been in OTO under the present Acting Frater Superior, only a tiny fraction of 1% have been so elevated on his watch. It is statistically nearly impossible to become a Ninth Degree in the OTO, and the grounds for conferring it are, at best, subject to close questioning and scrutiny.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (6) <!–[endif]–> FRATERNITY – The fraternal spirit which informed the OTO body which I first joined, and the Order in general in theory, has gradually been eroded. Until it is restored, I cannot, in good conscience, serve an upper management which has presided over the undoing in the last twenty years of the promising, if faltering beginning of the revivified Ordo Templi Orientis initiated by Major McMurtry.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (7) <!–[endif]–> SUPERSTITION – In the McMurtry era, an emphasis began to be placed upon the “churchy” aspects of the EGC, even a move to separate it out from OTO but, as it were, under the same management. This itself may have been a profound error, simply because OTO then and, as far as I can tell, now, tends to attract to its ranks spiritually disaffected people—firstly, from “New Age” counter-culturalists of the 1960s-70s era, and, increasingly, disaffected Wiccans, Neopagans and others of similar ilk looking for something more in the Western tradition. Many of these people are sincere, but they came to OTO alienated from a particular superstition, not from superstitious values per se. The present upper management moved from considering OTO pragmatically a “religious” entity (in the technical, legal sense) to being a religious entity proper. See Crowley ’s dire warning about this from “Magick Without Tears” quoted elsewhere in this memorandum. I know the individuals involved, but I obviously can’t know their innermost hearts. My perception is that some upper managers are utterly cynical about this, others are sacred humanists of a sort, while still others have drifted into being believers in their own mythos. I always regarded the “church” aspect as, arguably, a form of empowerment, as with all things magical…a working with that energy variously referred to as Od, Orgonne, Chi, Prana, et al. As a Scientific Illuminist, for me, each aspect of this, including the premise itself, should be something amenable to, and subjected to, scientific investigation, not credulous awe nor belief. The “churchy” aspects, in which I have been deeply involved, was not my “religion” but, as Crowley put it, “Human nature demands (in the case of most people) the satisfaction of the religious instinct, and, to very many, this may best be done under the influence of appropriate ritual…I resolved that my Ritual should celebrate the sublimity of the operation of universal forces without introducing disputable metaphysical theories, I would neither make nor imply any statement about nature which would not be endorsed by the most materialistic man of science…On the surface this may sound difficult; but in practice I found it perfectly simple to combine the most rigidly rational conceptions of phenomena with the most exalted and enthusiastic celebration of their sublimity.” The ritual referred to is Liber XV, “The Gnostic Mass” of the OTO. Whether the present upper management encourages an illogical interpretation of what essentially is an expression of the radical concept of the union of sexuality and spirituality, or whether it merely presides over it, EGC has become just another church, another ‘religion’ (and a miniscule one at that) in a world increasingly dominated by “Christianists” in America and Islamists virtually everywhere, in a dangerous fundamentalism. In the post 9/11 world, “Thelemists” are no more acceptable than Islamists, but upper management of OTO has utterly failed to address and underscore the original purpose of EGC aspects of OTO at a time when such is of extreme urgency.
<!–[if !supportLists]–> (8) <!–[endif]–> PURPOSE – The program of the OTO is, properly, continuation of the Authentic Tradition of the Hermetic Brotherhood of Light, to which it is legitimately (if not uniquely) heir, in the service of effective world reform in what is rightly assumed to be a New Aeon for humanity. It is neither a religious superstition nor a social club. Since the present upper management either does not understand this, or does not have a serious clue as to how to go about its proper Work, twenty years is enough; it is time that the Acting Frater Superior, the U.S. Grand Master General and any other putative national grand masters under this regime to do the honorable thing, and step down.
POSTSCRIPT – The world of magical practice, of esoteric metaphysics and self-realization through initiation and empowerment remains a rich one. Its potential for serving as a source for the revivification of Western Civilization in the face of a grim medievalist onslaught based in superstition, fanaticism and authoritarianism remains a real one, and I continue the Work on a number of fronts. It is not a belief system, but an experiment. It is unfortunate that the current leadership of OTO has dropped the ball, if it ever had it, but it has, and the first thing that needs doing is to acknowledge this without ourselves putting The Great Work aside. I have stepped down from management, not from the Work. It is part of that Work to resist the forces of superstition, tyranny and reaction. This memorandum is a part of this Work.

Outer order of apparently independent A.'.A.'. lineage founded by David Cherubim. Mr. Cherubim is the author of poorly written extrapolations on the Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, which he claims are channeled holy books and that he then copyrights and and at one time, sold in his spiritual program. This has seemingly changed and Mr. Cherubim has seemingly abandoned his petty throne. Though in the past, Mr. Cherubim has sent a representative to sign an Oath of Probationer with the A.'.A.'. lineage associated with the A.M.H.R., presumably in order to 'spy' on us. This reprehensible act so defies all integrity and it is hoped that he is now maturing past such ignoble roots. However, proving that they really have a non-spiritual and mundane bend, they keep an attorney on permanent retainer; ever vigilant to prosecute in a court of law; very much like the Caliphate O.T.O. from which, they originated.

Ordo Antichristianus Illuminati
O.A.I.
Founded by David Cherubim
The sophomoric and pubescent name really says it all.

A recent defector from this order writes:
"the uncircumstantial truth, [sic], is that fr. a.c., "josh seraphim",etc., is, as you've said before, a liar. he's also a paranoidschizophrenic micro-control freak, with whom i could & would no-longerWork. of interest to you, "josh" is also guilty of attacking me inEXACTLY the same way as cOTO attacks others, over non-rights tocopyrights. the only difference is, "josh" & OAI lost this case, wherecOTO keeps winning. now, he has even indicated that i might usewisdom, if i fear bodily injury over the latest shennannigans. hepretends aliases are real people, and is probably worse for the worldthan OAI's Founder, "david cherubim." i shoulda' known better… allthese non-real names."
Of course, this defector perverts the Thelemic mantra by promoting the following:

"There is No Law. Love & Do as Thou Wilt."
We then receive a letter from someone who may or may not be this defector:
"I, SuperCrip666, Matthew B. Abrams, 32:, MPS, Frater L.S.A.A., am the "defector" from O.A.I. whom you quote on your site. Please give me credit along with my quote."
And the next day we find this:
"open note to the little one calling himself "joshua jacob seraphim" i'm a Genius; but i WAS careless in one respect–leaving my yahoo acct. password the same as the one i'd given you on some doc's–wasn't i? you took control of this account saturday morning, after i broadcast a scathing answer to you, deleting ALL my saved e-mails, ALL my address book entries, and removing me from ALL my e-lists, except Toxickemail and a couple of MSN groups. you're too stupid to look beyond Yahoo, even if i had plenty of e-mails from those groups staring you in the face! …couldn't even do THIS thouroughly, joshie!"
All cults act alike and Mr. Abrams is certainly amongst his piers on Aiwaz-Thelema.
This commentary has also upset the supposed spiritual master, David Cherubim, who has since its posting, intimated that he was going to sue the webmaster over this account in email letters sent directly to this website. It can only be surmised that there's been no spiritual growth for Mr. Cherubim after these several years.

Order of Thelemic Knights
Founded by Gerald del Campo and unfortunately, connected to the Caliphate O.T.O. of which Mr. Campo is a member. Mr. Campo is also a close associate of David Cherubim, who now publicly claims to be a member of the A.'.A.'. as at least a Master of the Temple.

An organization composed of bodies from various versions of the O.T.O. and other Thelemic groups working in association with Satanists and the Temple of Astarte in Connecticut as well as the Greater Thelemic Society. They are hell-bent on harrassment, founded with the sole intent of persecuting the Califate O.T.O. and sponsors of the infamous Aiwaz-Thelema egroup. Aiwaz-Thelema has found virtue in harassment, slander and personal attack, mistaking such power politicking for the Great Work.
Indeed, their false notion of A.M.I.C.I.T.I.A. (based on the Bible on not on Liber AL!) not only shows up their hypocrisy, but proposes a false and impossible egalitarianism that takes more from Christist and Hippie ideals than anything that is actual in the nature of the world and Universe. While they proclaim reverence for Thelemic bodies, they consistently betray the privacy of these bodies by publishing confidential documents; initiate campaigns of slander and harrassment, and have a major campaign to redefine Thelema in alignment with the Judeo-Christian tradition. They are building yet another 'herd' with its own 'hive mind.'
In their megalomania, they not only want to reign over all Thelemic bodies, but also all religious bodies. Somehow, they already have a Jewish member in their ruling body and are actively seeking Christians as well. And even being a member of this organization, one will be constrained by a typical cultic tactic, threats of violence. Listen to them in their own words:
"I never said Ruthanne was one of the bad apples we removed for their prejudicial actions against a Jewish member of the Aeropagus. There were threats levied to a Soror of the order by members of the Aeropagus that lived in her area."
"…the UR-OTO is a Thelemic organization. The UR-OTO is not based on the acceptance of Thelema and a Christian based Lodge is fully welcome into the umbrella that is the UR-OTO. Not all OTO groups are Thelemic in their outlooks and not all Lodges in the UR actually practice a Thelemic or even OTO tradition. Some Lodges are straight up Rosicrucian Lodges, with little to no Thelema even discussed or taught. If the Cicero Clan decided they wanted to bring their Golden Dawn group into the UR-OTO then I know that it would be open to them and they are definitely not Thelemites."
This same character, an important UR-OTO leader, later, proclaims his respect for David Bersson of the S.O.T.O. (see above) when he writes:
I have the utmost respect for what David Bersson hasaccomplished with his SOTO movement, quite an accomplishment in occultcircles if you think about the sheer size and power of this smallmovement, not Caliphate numbers but certainly larger than 99% of theoccult orders out there. The fact that I am a "failed" Probationer ofMr. Bersson has nothing to do with this… ;)

Jeroen Hoogeweij, one of the principals of the UR-OTO, who has led a body of people in the slanderously false notion that the webmaster of this A.M.H.R. site is a racist, writes the following (remember, these are the A.M.I.C.I.T.I.A. people):

OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DOOKELLI I'VE GOT A PUZZLE FOR YOUOOMPA LOOMPA, DOOMPADAH DEEIF YOU ARE WISE YOU'LL LISTEN TO MEWHAT DO YOU GET WHEN YOUR FEMINAZIBLAMING ALL MEN FOR YOUR OWN LACK BABEEHOW DID YOU GET SO TERRIBLY DUMBNIGGERS DON’T EVEN THINK THAT YOU’RE FUN
YOUR WRITING IS USELESS DRIVELY- BLAHOOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DAHBAKE SOME COOKIES AND YOU WILL GO FARYOU WILL LIVE IN HAPPINESS TOOLIKE THE (male indigenous) OOMPA LOOMPA DOOMPADEE DODOOMPADEE DOO

For more on the history of Jeroen Hoogeweij, read a letter to David R. Jones (the performance artist of the Caliphate that likes to defacate on stage), from the Michael Merrit of the Aiwaz-Thelema group:

Do What Thou Wilt shall be the Whole of the Law.
David,
I know you have established that you are not my friend; however, thedescent of this individual into the loch ness seems necessary.Although I don't necessarily think everything the O.T.O. IXº says isright, and when someone points the finger I generally try to see thetruth of the situation, I would really like to know if what Mr.Orpheus said is true. Did Jeroen or did he not try to stop hisgirlfriend (in the Netherlands O.T.O.) from proceeding with herinitiation. I was told that he also destroyed a bunch of herproperty, including robes and other magical acoutrements. And, thatbased on his abuse, which can be easily seen in his ranting andraving against "Kelli", the O.T.O. was informed which propelled hisremoval.
I think it is important to make sure the facts are clear, becausethen he proceeded to help create the United Rites O.T.O. with someindividuals from Germany, Brazil, plus Ruthanne and Hal and others.During this time from someone hacked our Grand Lodge list, uploadedall of the degree study guides to an elist (so many people got copiesof it), and which Jeroen incorporated into files (which arediscernable by their font) that now exist on "Greater Thelema." Itis these files which UR-OTO claims constitute their rituals. It isnot only the same O.T.O. ritual out of the King book but inclusive ofH.B.'s study guides! Therefore, because he was removed from the realO.T.O., he just decided to create his own O.T.O. This level ofmockery must be known to everyone. "Thou shalt know and destroy thetraitors."
Further, his continuation of implying I'm "Kelli," someone heapparently doesn't like, is only his attempt to scury under a rockand hide from himself. If he can discredit what I am saying bylabeling me someone with apparently a notorious reputation (at leastin his mind), he can also hide from the truth of his history. Whydoesn't he fess up to these facts? And now, rather than existing onhis own merit, providing his own WORK, or his own WRITINGS, he hidesbehind Peter Koenig.
Koenig's fuel is the fact that he can access particular documentsbelonging to the O.T.O., and I have heard from reputable sources thatit is their current goal to sue the Swiss O.T.O. for their property.I fully support them to do this given the behavior of Koenig,Hoogeweig and his cronies. Even if they dislike American imperialismand the "California" logic, their very attempt at harboring mysteriesand utlizing them for their selfish and childish aims is far worsethan corporate America. It is these people, remember, who allowAmerican executives to hide bank accounts with large sums of money toavoid paying taxes on it in the first place.
Fraternally yours,
Michael Merritt
Love is the law, love under Will.
Note, the Caliphate documents are no longer on the Greater Thelema website or list.
Of course, as could be expected from an unconscious animal, is a knee-jerk reaction. Jeroen Hoogeweij (along with others of the Aiwass-Thelema triangle: UR-OTO & Hal von Hofe, Greater Thelema & Bobby Shiflet, along with Antiquities of the Illuminati & Jonathan Sellers), the alleged compassionate Buddhist, has been spamming my blog (leaving this quote: "Anyone can become angry. That is easy. But to be angry with the right person to the right degree at the right time for the right purpose and in the right way – that is not easy.") and has tried to connect false Yahoo ID's with the email addresses on this website. Vindictive megalomania is an apparent trait; an interesting characteristic of the A.M.I.C.I.T.I.A. people. Once again, these Shut-Ups (cf. Book of Lies ) are practicing their power of restriction. And in Jeroen's anal-retentivity, he's really upset by the truth; about as immature a jerk as one can find in any spiritual group. Beware of these emotionally disturbed types. It's not about spiritual growth for them, but about temporal power and megalomania. This is all typical criminal behavior for this small network of organizations.
As if all of this isn't enough bad behavior, this leader of the UR-OTO owns their official site, which was closed for spam violations. Cf. http://www.freethelema.greatnow.com/
***
They have also formed a working collective of individuals dedicated to the study of the Picatrix with senior membership also being principals of the UR-OTO. They are associated with the Aiwaz-Thelema egroup that is a cacophonous collection of power politicians and ego-maniacs more interested in harassing each other and others than in doing any real work. Presenters of "The Rovelli Award" to any that don't quarry their favor and used as a tool to keep their own in line; using this as a threat.

For those that remember those days with all the assholes that were involved in my “censure” (remember the letter they all signed?)
….YOU GOTTA SEE THIS…IT’S A SCREAMING RIOT!
First the asshole blames others for his behavior (whimp!) when he was hacking my website from Holland
(and from his employer!…whom we contacted, requesting a cease&desist…but never got a response), where I couldn’t reach him legally and after I legally went after Mr. Sellers as he left an electronic trail for my Internet provider to follow…then let’s not forget his brilliant artwork…then he tries to tell me that since he’s no longer connected to the UR-OTO that I guess, somehow, what he did then doesn’t count.  Then he insults me by accusing me of writing “vengeful untruths” (gotta wonder, does this guy even have a pee-pee; he was so obsessed w/mine…see pics below) and tries the ridiculous assumption that somehow this is hurting him in his career…oh…and then the emotional basket case apologizes?!
Oi-veh!!! … this is a classic example of narcissism; finely honed.
Yet again, we are reminded of a moral aphorism that I am proud to have coined: IF YOU SEE A THELEMITE ON THE ROAD, RUN FOR YOUR DEAR LIFE!

Dear mr Rovelli,

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law

It has come to my attention, that you have a whole story about me on your website, on www.amhr.org/-thelorg.html, in fact depicting me in a false light. We did have our differences, but you seem to give me a much larger role in the award that was given to you than is factually true. This was the work of Alamantra, Jonathan Sellers and a few other people I don't know, but that you had a fallout with.
Nor am I connected with the UR-OTO anymore and haven't been so for quite a few years, so your statement that I would be one of their "leaders" is also untrue. Additionally, the posting by "Michael merrit" on your website was in fact written by Kelli Holloran like I stated and the accusations she leveled at me were false. She is calling me a "wife beater", which is a hurtful lie. My girlfriend and I have been together for over 15 years now, we love each other very much and are raising an 11 year old son.
I wouldn't be all too concerned about it, but your website seems to come up first when my name (Jeroen Hoogeweij) is googled. Don't get me wrong: as a fellow thelemite, I do not want to impair you right to free speech in any way and if you decide to keep these vengeful untruths about me online, so be it.
But instead of running an occult order I run an internet business and the amount of financial and reputation damage I suffer is disproportionate with what happened to you.
I would therefore like to kindly request you to either update your information about me or altogether remove the whole passage. If you suffered any damage from any of my childish antics in the past, I apologise for that.

Love is the law, love under will

Yours fraternally,

Jeroen Hoogeweij

My further response:

First they ignore you.
Then they ridicule you.
Then they fight you.
Then you win.

He had no problems when he and his co-conspirators were trying to destroy my life.  They called people I knew and spread false stories about me; put up a website devoted to mocking me and even claimed that their hatred of my spiritual and political opinions united them and was integral in the formulation of their own magickal lodge.

It's only now that he perceives he is being hurt BY HIS OWN ACTIONS that he pretends to offer me some niceties, dignity and respect.  But like all petty narcissists, this is all about him and not about me at all.

It was only a couple of years ago that he began advertising to the various egroups on the net that it was his diagnosis with bi-polar illness that was the cause of all his behavioral issues.  And of course, this couldn't be further from the truth.  In this, he still didn't take responsibility for his actions, but blamed it on mental disease.  As parents, we teach our children right from wrong…how come he's not yet learned this?  We teach our children to take responsibility for their actions…how come he's not yet learned this?

This man decided a long time ago, that those who disagree with his religious and spiritual opinions deserve to have their lives destroyed.  That was the motivation for all his actions.  And his recent letter proves that he hasn't changed his mind at all.

JEROEN HOOGEWEIJ IS A HATE CRIMINAL!

The irony here is that this is the first time any one of them has admitted to wrong-doing.  The whole conspiracy sits smug in their conceit to this day.  And now, without a common "enemy" outside, they are beginning to attack each other!  We will keep watching.

The artwork of Jeroen Hoogeweij

They are also connected with G.M. Kelly, the foremost nutcase in all of Thelema (outpacing even David Bersson!)

G.M. Kelly is a master at twisting facts to create a work of fiction (sometimes accurate and in some cases, slander, pursuing his own egoist agenda) about almost everyone he rants upon…and he rants against everyone but himself. His website is a moving testimony of his narcissistic infatuation with himself while proclaiming that he is a Master of the Temple and has destroyed his ego. Apparently, someone else does his reading for him or much of the information he gets is by word of mouth as most of the time, he doesn't even quote accurately. Of course, he could be bending those quotes simply to keep his propaganda machine moving.

Self-proclaimed Satanists, destroying anything they can that is authentic in Thelema and intimately associated with Antiquities of the Illuminati, UR-OTO, Thelema-Maat Lodge and Temple of Astarte. They pervert the Thelemic mantra by exclaiming: "Do what you like, like what you do." And they promulgate the philosophy that Thelema is nothing but a literary movement, plagiarized by Crowley to promulgate his megalomania. Originators of "The Rovelli Award" and colluders with the Aiwaz-Thelema egroup of which their entire membership is affiliated; also with Nema and her herd/hive complex. The "Rovelli Award" is the talisman upon which they founded their lodge. It's abuse of religious symbols is clearly a hate crime and the sending of this talisman to Paul Joseph Rovelli was meant to harass and evoke fear. See a picture of this talisman:

Refer to the editorial archives of the Antiquities group (link shown below this paragraph…and notice the immature tone in their ranting!) for their claim of founding the order on this talisman. The talisman itself was consistently charged by the Aiwass-Thelema egroup/hate group (again, remember their bogus claim to A.M.I.C.I.T.I.A. … something supposedly about friendship, love and brotherhood), which proudly displayed the talisman in their archives until recently and still presents this award to others that they hate. Note also the use of the Nazi, Iron Cross in the logo of the Greater Thelema group. Beware of this emergent cult and the nice face it tries to present to the world. They actually espouse the idea that Do what thou wilt means to do whatever it is that you desire. This of course, is Black Magick in its most horrific form.
THE GENERAL EDITORIAL contains a rather long justification for our indignation at the flatulence and all around childish antics of the former Mr. Paul Joseph Rovelli, Piano Salesman, of Newark New Jersey (claims to be a Mason)… When we use the word childish, we have no intention of dirtying the concept of childhood, childishness, et cetera. Just a fitting figure of speech.Since we are all classed as Satanists there, we might just as well be Contras, too!

The Antiquities of the Illuminati people work in close alliance with the Aiwaz-Thelema, UR-OTO, Temple of Astarte and Greater Thelema groups. It seems really that they are all one group. You'll find a marvelous study of the history of the Western Mystery Tradition here. But it all comes to a mockery when all one finds in the end is a lot of arm-chair magickians spewing hate and vitriol. See their editorials in relation to 'The Rovelli Award.' You'll especially enjoy the back-tracking apologies they make on this site in contradiction to their postings on Aiwaz-Thelema.
Jonathan Sellers has accused the webmaster of the A.M.H.R. site of being a racist. Yet he writes:
In Aiwaz-Thelema@yahoogroups.com, Jonathan Sellers<antiqillum@y…> wrote:You know, fellow Jon, this is the exact sort of thingI am speaking about in other threads…. this is thekind of trivia that these nabobs wallow in for days onend, and why i may actually have a bone to pick withthose WHO SHOULD KNOW BETTER for keeping these peoplein their acquaintanceship, even as porch niggers.
Jonathan Sellers had also been spamming my website with a script file written from IP Address: 68.170.56.150. The full website name is: ca-temecula-cuda2-c2a-150.snbrca.adelphia.net (They were formally notified; their tech support already had his name). This script had been sending almost 100 comments per day to my blog. They started with porn site ads and steadied out with poker and gambling site ads, coming from a fake Hotmail address: pokerguy@hotmail.com.
The only one worse than Sellers is Ron Mershon, formerly known as Scorpios; one of the leading immature Satanists of the group. He used to spam our Yahoo group with 250 messages per day, forcing us to a private cc list (the nature of the "Shut-Ups" cf. Book of Lies , cap. 89). These two of course, collude with the other Satanists of Aiwass-Thelema. >From Jonathan's Verizon account, he sends the following messages, the first being a veiled threat that arrives repeatedly, every day, the others simply inane and have arrived only once. But the number of them shows how little time Jonathan has for a healthy life:
Anyone can become angry. That is easy. But to be angry with the right person to the right degree at the right time for the right purpose and in the right way – that is not easy.

Religious tolerance has developed more as a consequence of the impotence of religions to impose their dogmas on each other than as a consequence of spiritual humility in the quest for understanding first and last things.

Those who assert that the mathematical sciences say nothing of the beautiful or the good are in error. For these sciences say and prove a great deal about them; if they do not expressly mention them, but prove attributes which are their results or definitions, it is not true that they tell us nothing about them. The chief forms of beauty are order and symmetry and definiteness, which the mathematical sciences demonstrate in a special degree.
Modern science disclaims any intention of understanding the hidden nature of things; its philosophy condemns any such endeavour as vague, misleading and altogether unscientific….But I refuse to heed this warning. I agree that the process of understanding leads beyond – indeed far beyond – what a strict empiricism regards as the domain of legitimate knowledge; but I reject such an empiricism. If consistently applied, it would discredit any knowledge whatever and it can be upheld only by allowing it to remain inconsistent. It is permitted this inconsistency because its ruthless mutilation of human experience lends it such a high reputation for scientific severity, that its prestige overrides the defensiveness of its own foundations. Our acknowledgement of understanding as a valid form of knowing will go a long way towards liberating our minds from this violent and inefficient despotism.

The fact of having been born is a bad augury for immortality.

Re: Ron Mershonby Tod Reese • Friday September 19, 2003 at 11:02 AM
Interesting that Ron Mershon of the "Order of Shaitan" would renounce any sort of criminal activity since it is well known in the Satanic community that he has posted messages to Usenet news groups advertising that he is available as a "hitman" (of course no one takes his claims seriously since he is hardly able to "hit" himself) and that Mr. Mershon took out several paid ads in the Weekly World News personals section looking for underage girls.
All this immature, vindictive and criminal behavior is a petty power lust; these punk terrorists feel they need to control the opinions and behavior of others in a manner consistent with high school or pubescent mentality (identical to their al-Qaeda counterparts), though they're old enough to know better and do real harm. In this case, breaking the law is not something that is beneath them, but as you can see, a part of their modus operandi; akin to the nature of all fundamentalist zealots. We've retained a log of every spam message with its headers, available to anyone seriously seeking to validate the claims being made here.
In Jonathan's case, you can imagine that having an insulin machine permanently affixed to your hip can destroy your emotional maturity as it ruins your love life. So we do understand the source of his angst and personal frustration. But this does demonstrate the invisible monkeys that are on the backs of all the people in this collective. Some day, Thelema will stop attracting petty power mongers and begin to attract people with greater personal integrity and maturity. These more enlightened souls are what the A.M.H.R. seeks and to that end, we hold out Thelema's vampires in the sun that they might some day, no longer be welcome in our collective community.
At least now, we are finally beginning to see others catch up to the ugliness behind the Jonathan Sellers/Alamantra alliance. This post appears on AiwassThelema in November of 2005ev:

A Thelemic body rooted in the Maatian current. Though the A.M.H.R. eschews Liber Pennae Praenumbra, precisely because it contradicts Liber AL vel Legis, and for that reason, we disagree with the tenets and pseudo-science of this organization, one will find real creative work here. Because their re-write of the Gnostic Mass coincidentally broached similar lines with the GCL re-write, we have sought communion with them in spite of our disagreements, which they politely declined.
