Each member church has its own Council of Elders ;(C.O.E.) with one principal servant who holds the title of Rector. The Rector may be teamed with the collective of Rectors from the various churches in a body called the Grand Ecumenical Council (G.E.C.), or another memeber of the local C.O.E. may be chosen to represent the church in the G.E.C.; each themselves being a Director of that Council. Affiliate churches hold no presence in the G.E.C. and may not subscribe to the formal rites and structure of the G.C.L.
This council meets every five years to compare the working notes of each of its collective bodies as per the experimental nature of the formula of the mass. In this way, a living science continues its exploration into the secrets of nature. As well, all other issues within the A.M.H.R. collective are addressed with non-binding consensus resolutions set in order to better facilitate the harmonious association that is held in the balance. These resolutions then, are meant to be suggestive by the wisdom of the council.

The principal operational Talisman of the A.M.H.R.
The A.M.H.R. represents the collective association of independent Gnostic churches that each accept Liber AL vel Legis as the principal 'Wanga' of the Astral Current attendant over the Earth at this time in history. Each church remains autonomous unto itself, but accepts the rites and sacraments of the G.C.L. as its main liturgical work in formulation of a common community. We recognize the important diversity amongst the various cultural, bio-regions of its member churches. Therefore, each church will pursue its own individual agenda in accord with the nature of its own collective spirit.
The Breviary of the G.C.L. addresses issues pertinent to both the Gnostic Mass and the Twin Mass of the T.E.G.A. Additionally, it speaks to other elements of the agenda of the A.M.H.R. However, we caution; the nature of this work is that it is riddled with a shimmering glamour. In Thelema in general and as has been the experience of the A.M.H.R., couples reading to an intelligent level on Magick and then realizing they have the ability to generate orgasm, suddenly think they are Magus and Scarlet Woman.
The glamour is too seductive! It is for this reason that only those of the A.'.A.'. or formally associated with it can form churches in the A.M.H.R. And even here, any one church must be run by a Rector of the College of the Rosy Cross...or a Zelator of the Order of Thelema appointed by the Acting Council of Elders in accord with the Order of Thelema.
Ordination into our Sanctuary must be earned through work not specifically addressed by the documents in our Breviary. There is a process of preparation for the work involved that can only be come by through specific instruction in the lesser-known Alchemical teachings of Thelemic Magick. The Order of Thelema has embraced the effort to propagate this as a healing science for the general benefit of humanity at-large.
